Tennessee Williams
Scholars' Conference

Submission Guidelines
Papers accepted for the Scholars' Conference may also be considered for publication in The Tennessee Williams Annual Review. All first-time presenters are required to submit a full-length essay (10-15 pp.) that will be refereed by Williams specialists. Essays on virtually any topic regarding Williams's plays, poetry, fiction, and essays are welcomed, as well as papers dealing with film adaptations of his plays. Although full-length submissions are required, presenters will read only an abstract (1-2 pp.) of their essays, thus allowing for questions/comments from the audience and an intellectually lively give-and-take.

Presenters receive free admission to several events, as well as invitations to parties and a reduced hotel rate. Please contact Dr. Robert Bray at rbray@mtsu.edu for additional information.

Submissions should be addressed to:

Conference dates: March 30, 2007
